This diploma work focuses on the issue of valuation of a company and implementing the theoretical findings obtained through various methods into the specific situation of CS Expres joint-stock company which transports individual packages. The practical part of the work provides financial and strategical analysis of the company. The valuation of the company suggestion is carried out with the help of theoretical methods, but also by establishment of specific criteria which can be used to estimate the real price of the company.

in English Fashion Law This rigorosum thesis carries the name of the recently established field of law. The fashion law has to uphold its status through fulfilment of the field-specific criteria; therefore, the fashion law is introduced on the background of a three part conceptual classification - fashion business law, fashion public law and fashion intellectual property law. The first chapters are dedicated to the establishment of the fashion law with respect to its wide academic acceptance. The second chapter outlines fashion business law with a special view to intellectual property licensing, due to its influence on the reputation of the fashion companies, which is crucial in such a competitive field. The topic of fashion public law is included as well in the second chapter as a necessary part of the legal field which might provide an alternative look at the issue of protection of the fashion companies' intellectual property. The entire third chapter addresses the fashion companies' intellectual property: patents, copyright, fashion designs and trade marks as suitable forms of protection of fashion designs and fashion brands. The rigorous thesis "Trade marks with reputation in light of case-law of the EU" submits a complex overview of the issues concerning trade marks with reputation in relation to the case-law of the EU. The initial part looks into the role of the Community trade mark in the framework of the Czech and International trade mark system, contains topic concerning the private law aspects of trade marks and submits general overview of procedural issues. The thesis also includes interpretation of the unclear terminology and presents "related topics" (comparison with well-known marks, enhanced distinctiveness, family of marks). The main pillar of the thesis is analysis of article 8(5) CTMR (counterpart of § 7 (1)(b) and (e) of the Act No. 441/2003 Coll., on Trade Marks) and of its cumulative conditions that need to be met to successfully claim the article concerned. It mainly contains analysis of the forms of encroachment (unfair advantage of the distinctiveness or the repute of the earlier mark, detriment to distinctiveness, detriment to repute) in light of case-law of the EU, all also from procedural law point of view. Public Relations and Communication in the Health Sector

The thesis describes the role of public relations and communication in the health sector and points at its specifications and differences if compared to the profitable sectors. The thesis analyses the current level of the issue in the Czech Republic, including legal and ethical perspectives of a health institution. The first part of the thesis explains the theory of the public relations and communicaiton sectors and includes a concise description of the health sector. The second part deals with internal, external and crisis communication of individual hospitals and institutions and analyses them through the method of qualitative research. Aside from other aspects, I describe pratical operation of public relations, usage of media communication tools in practice at individual health institutions. In addition to this, target audience, the public and the importance of a good reputation of a hospital have been defined in this part.
